Our Life Teen Ministry for
all High School Teens
is on Sundays at 6pm. Life Teen in a youth program especially geared
toward High School Teens. Each Sunday there is a dynamic celebration
of the Mass at 6pm which is open to anyone. After the mass there will be
a Life Teen night called LIFENIGHT for the High School Teens
only.
This usually lasts until 9pm.
Please spread the word around and invite as many teens as possible.
Please PRAY for the success of this ministry which aims to bring
teens closer to Christ and His Church !
What is LIFE TEEN ?
Life Teen is a youth ministry program that is run all over the country.
It was originally founded by Father Dale of St. Timothy's church in
Mesa, Arizona. This program was started at Sacred Heart Catholic Church
in Lake Worth, Florida in September, 1998. The Life Teen Program is the
most dynamic, exciting Catholic Youth Ministry. Everything we do is
totally centered on Jesus and especially His incredible presence in the
Eucharist.
What can LIFE TEEN offer me ??
Well, here is a list of a FEW of the benefits of our program:
1) spiritual growth
2) a warm friendly atmosphere
3) a FUN mass (not like the regular monotonous* ones!)
4)TRIPS, BEACH DAYS, MOVIE NIGHTS, CAMPING!!
5) prayer services, topic nights
6) lock-ins, retreats
7) great friends, loving and caring adults
8) and most of all... a better relationship with God!
Teen Masses are held every Sunday at 6pm. When school begins we will also hold Life Teen Meetings after these masses.
LIFE TEEN PRAYER
Jesus, the bread of life, taken, blessed, broken and given away so that all might be healed and have LIFE. Father, TAKE the lives of our teens. We offer them to you with open hands. Through the example of Jesus, teach them to surrender their lives fully to You. BLESS them with the knowledge that they truly belong to a community of love and mercy. Break open their hearts so that the seed of the Word and power of the Eucharist can Be planted in fertile ground, take root and transform their lives. Give these teens To the world with the power of the Holy Spirit to witness to the love of Jesus and Serve him in each person they meet. Let this LIFE TEEN ministry be bread for the world. As Christ gave You thanks And fed many, may we give You thanks for this ministry and ask You to "Multiply" it and nurture its growth for Your Glory, Amen.
